Last Day of School for 5th Grade Students

The last day of school is different for the 5th graders. 5th graders ONLY will have their last day of school on Wednesday, June 9th. Dismissal will be at 11:30. At 12:30 PM virtual and face to face fifth graders will celebrate the end of their time at Polk Elementary School with their teachers during a drive through graduation. Families will gather in the Eton parking lot and be called to the front of the school one at a time. There will be treats, awards, and photo opportunities. Rain date is June 10th. Everyone else, Young 5's through 4th grade, will have their last day on Friday, June 11th, with face to face students coming into school. Dismissal is at 11:30 AM.

Summer Bridge Book Challenge!

Every student at Polk will get a Summer Bridge book to take home this year. Please participate in Polk's Summer Bridge Book Challenge with your child(ren). Spend just 15 minutes a day together with the Bridge Book to help your child's skills stay sharp and prepare for next school year. Students will bring their completed book back to school next year to win a gift card and a chance to win one of two brand new bikes. Parents please look for the book to be sent home with your child's school materials.

Parents please return school Chromebooks and chargers in June

Please return the Chromebook and the charger your child borrowed from school on the following dates:

Fifth Grade Students - June 8th & 9th;
K-4th Grades - June 10th &11th.

Return the Chromebook and charger to the teacher or the Main Office.
