School Safety is the First Priority!
This morning a Polk student was hit by a car while crossing the street. Thankfully, it looks like he sustained relatively minor injuries and will recover. It could have been much worse. To make certain all of our students are safe at arrival and dismissal times, please drive slowly. Please be respectful of others including the crossing guards and tell your children to cross at the crosswalks. If you are driving your child to school, it is a good idea to drop them off at a safe place to cross the street or a place where they do not need to cross the street. Safety is our first priority.
