Welcome to Polk Elementary – and welcome to our School Family! We are proud of the excellent achievements of our students, our talented and caring staff, and the outstanding support that Polk receives from our Polk Parent Association (PPA), active parents and families. I am Dr. Claudia Portscheller, the principal of Polk Elementary and I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

 

The staff and I are looking forward to a wonderful year of teaching and learning. Know that every month we will send home a school newsletter explaining the focus of the month and planned activities. The monthly newsletter is a great tool to keep in a handy place at home. The school newsletter, student handbook, supply lists, lunch menu, and additional information are available on the Polk webpage. We invite you to attend parent-child activities, volunteer in classrooms, support school fundraisers, attend family outings and be an active member of the PPA.
