Board Policy Committee.
1-2 appointees will be appointed at the February 5, 2025 Public Board Meeting.
PURPOSE: To develop new/update current Board Policies with the assistance of NEOLA and administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Review new and current Board Policies as recommended by staff, NEOLA and or Board Member(s). A first reading of the recommendation(s) will take place at a Board of Education meeting, with the second reading at the following Board of Education meeting.
Updating policies on the website is the responsibility of staff.
The chairperson is responsible for committee agendas, presiding over meetings and providing minutes to the full Board. The chair will report on agenda items to the full Board, including background information. The chair will ensure that full committee endorsement is adhered to before reporting to the Board. {Taken from Board Policy)
